"Nature's Needs Humus has increased the survivability of our plantings AND has promoted quicker stronger growth without the use of fertilizers."

- Greg Kosharek, (2002) Kosharek Landscaping, Buxton, OR

"The effect of Nature's Needs humus on our new lawns has been amazing! During the hottest weeks of the summer, we hardly watered. The growth is still deep green, the roots are strong and there is a noticeable cushion effect. We have not used any chemicals as we have in the past five years. Better yet, the earthworms, birds, butterflies . . . and even frogs have returned to our yard. It's great for our kids!"

"I have noticed a huge improvement in the growth and vigor of all our vegetable starts. We haven't seen anything like it . . . strong, green and beautiful!"

- David Brown, Oregon Tilth Certified Organic Grower, Mustard Seed Farms, St. Paul, OR, 2003

"I planted 1500 plus varieties of plants in my 1/3 acre of yard in order to make the yard bio-dynamic that would invite bugs and birds. In the process of making my garden, the plants started showing signs that they were not necessarily happy. It was about this time that I learned about Natures Needs Humus. So, I applied humus for an experiment, it was too late to re-do the garden. As soon as a couple of days, plants started showing that they really liked it. Later, I was aware that they looked much healthier with no water in the month of June.

Rose black spots, clematis fungus on their leaves were gone. The bonus is, it is so easy to pull the weeds from the very roots, and the garden maintenance became much easier. As for lawn, which was miserable, soggy and spongy covered by moss, where nothing would grow except a couple of trees that didn't look healthy. After hours of discussion, humus came to mind instead of a surgical solution. I have already started acknowledging the difference. First, the surface was not soggy and spongy. In April I was aware there were a couple of lady bugs already on duty although I hadn't planted any plant material. When I dig 4 inches, there were big earth worms."

"We received our first order of organic compost and were very pleased with your product. The compost has a very uniform, appealing appearance and (much to our surprise) there is no detectable odor. We are already seeing the benefits in our yard! We will be back for more. . . on a regular basis.

It has been one year since I first tried Nature's Needs. After using the product I immediately experienced root production of 100%. The increased root growth is indicative of a general and systematic increase in health and vitality and has significantly increased size and yield. In addition to doubling root production Nature's Needs is responsible for significant reduction of root rot in cuttings Nature's Needs is perfect for Dahlias. I am returning to purchase a whole truckload and I can't wait to see how it will work with my new garlic bed. Nature's Needs is the perfect soil amendment, loaded with beneficial nutrients. Nature's Needs brings earth back to life. Thank you for a great product.

"Nature's Needs Humus was a wonderful discovery for me. I wanted a product I could trust to be real compost made from local "organic" materials. Not only is this what they provide, but it can be very reasonable --- a true bargain for anyone who comes with their own containers to fill. Even when delivered it is still quite competitive with other bulk materials. We are fortunate to have this ecologically sound source of good things for gardens and gardeners.

I have been using your humus to fill several raised beds and container boxes that I have built in re-landscaping our backyard. Our tree canopy has become so dense that lawn was no longer an option. We have planted a variety of plants and grasses and they are all doing well in the humus. I continue to inoculate the humus in beds and boxes with compost tea which I brew in a 60 gallon brewing system I devised. I also use your humus as my microbe source in my compost tea brewing process. The resulting tea is very rich in microbial activity and our lawn, tree shrubs and plants all appear to be doing very well.

My neighbor and I recently aerated our lawns and then spread about an inch of your humus over the lawns. Both of our lawns are looking great. Since the aeration I have drenched my front lawn with compost tea as well and my lawn appears above my neighbor's so now I am brewing a batch of compost tea for him to use. I have recommended your humus to several of my gardening associates and many have recently purchased your product. I am sure that they will find it as beneficial as I do.
