Our feedstock consists predominantly of pre-consumer fruits and vegetables, with lesser amounts of yard debris and wood chips. Fruits and vegetables are the essential human food group with the highest microbial count. All of our incoming feedstock is inspected, all possible contaminants are removed, and it is monitored daily. The quality of our feedstock is essential to the quality of our humus. Feedstock is incorporated into our windrows according to a specific recipe design.
